simplicity

In my opinion, simplicity makes the individual pieces of an outfit stand out. I'm always a little sparse on the accessory side of an outfit, but I believe that the clothes shouldn't fight for attention. Along with the "sparse" theme that I'm going on, I'm also a huge fan of showing off midriff, but no belly button. Showing some skin is sexy, but showing too much can misconstrue sexy for something else!

For those that don't know, I love playing with hair. I used to watch tutorials on different hairstyles and do it with the person teaching it ... I still do! This isn't something I copied, but it's just a high bun with a volume filled-twist framing my face. I actually called this hairstyle the "Cinderalla" bun because it reminded me of her hairstyle what with the bun, the front poof, and the headband ;)
