grace's way: curling hair (video included)

If I ever get any requests from having this blog (besides the ones from my friends who see this as an easy way to see what I own and borrow my stuff ;)...), it's how to curl my hair. So if you were ever curious about how I curled my hair in any of my previous posts (including the one shown above), keep on reading. How-to video, Tips and Product Details are included.

no more raccoon eyes!

review: anastasia's lash genius waterproof topcoat
For a long time, I've had a lot of trouble with my mascara smudging. No matter what brand I used, I would always see traces of my "smudge proof" mascara underneath my lower lash line. I don't know about you, but that is not the kind of look I was aiming for. Even waterproof mascara seemed to make its way down and smudge!

Now, I know I have to touch up my make up now and then, but I'm the kind of student that keeps make up on from 8 am to 1 am, and I'd like to go around campus knowing that I don't look like a raccoon!

Read more to figure out what I did to fix this problem!

diy: at home hair dye!

Dying my hair at home is always a risk. Coming from a person with naturally black hair, no matter what box dye I use for my hair, the end result would always look the same. Although the results were always disappointing, I would always hope for a better look next time and pass on an expensive hair dye at a salon. This time, however, was a little better. :)

Although it's hard to tell in the before and after picture above, my hair is noticeably browner! (Before it was more of a dark brown that looked browner in the sunlight). If you want to know how I got it that way for $25, please continue reading!

review: revlon just bitten kissable balm stain

I was at Ulta the other day to buy L'Oreal's Infallible Gel Lacquer Liner and had a coupon where I could get $3.50 off of $10. The gel liner, however, was only $8.99, so I looked around and came upon these Revlon Lipstains. Who could pass up the adorable packaging? And, an added plus? It was buy one get one 50% off! ;)
