If knotting your shirt didn't become a trend this summer, I don't know what I would have done with this print shirt! I normally don't buy prints; if you haven't noticed already, I wear a lot of solid color clothes. I didn't even buy this shirt; my mom gave it to me after realizing that she didn't want it! It's actually a long high-low shirt that I knotted up to make it shorter. You can also create a regular tie in the middle to create the other cropped tie trend (such as the one in my summer brights look).

These shorts are my favorite, most-worn high-waisted shorts. I like to lean towards high-waisted shorts because I feel that they make my legs look longer. For a petite girl like me, I need that! A majority of my shorts are actually high-waisted. If you're the kind of girl that doesn't like muffin tops or pooches, a high-waist is the way to go. You can still buy the ones that I'm wearing here. Even though it's a bit pricey for shorts, I swear that they are the stretchiest, most comfortable shorts you will wear. My sister even bought a pair after I showed her mine! For a size reference, I'm a size 2.
