the end?

Hi everyone!

Thanks for joining me on my short journey as a fashion blogger. While I will keep this site up for memories, for now (as you can probably already tell), I'm taking a hiatus. I'm not saying this is over just yet, but I guess I'll put my college life ahead of my short stint on the internet. ;)

Until next time,

for the lack of posts

I apologize to my readers and followers for my extreme lack of posting! Second semester of college is really kicking me in the butt, but I will be back with more posts ... sometime in the future!

comfy cozy

This is one of my favorite lazy day outfits. A comfy sweater with stretchy jeans and flats is as casual as I get. I love this sweater because it doesn't make me feel as bulky as some sweaters do, and it's also super sparkly! The only downside of it is that it's very delicate so if something gets caught ... it can be a mess!

how to get the "perfect" curls

grace's way: curling hair (video included)

If I ever get any requests from having this blog (besides the ones from my friends who see this as an easy way to see what I own and borrow my stuff ;)...), it's how to curl my hair. So if you were ever curious about how I curled my hair in any of my previous posts (including the one shown above), keep on reading. How-to video, Tips and Product Details are included.

one skirt, three looks

When I go shopping, I try to look for staple pieces. The more staple pieces you have, the more you can change it up and create different styles with it. Don't get me wrong, finding unique pieces are just as great, but you can't get as much wear with them! Skirts are great because they're so easy to transition from season to season. (I actually wore this skirt in a previous post!) All you have to do is find some warm tights (double layer if you're on the East) and boots, and you can wear your summer skirt in winter! Just throw on a peacoat and you're out the door and ready for the cold. (Side note: can we just both agree that my smile is super goofy in this picture? Okay moving on...) Read more for details on each outfit!

grandma chic

I want to start off by saying that with the new year (I know I'm a tad late on saying this...), I'm aiming to have at least one post every week. I intend on sticking with this for the whole year so I hope I don't disappoint! But back to this outfit ... I have a tendency to gravitate towards pieces that are a bit outdated in style but I absolutely love them. This thick cardigan I'm wearing actually reminds me of something a grandma (with no offense to any woman, any age) would wear, but I love the classic look of this white and black color palette accented with gold buttons. I paired this with jeans to make this outfit more casual, and chose to wear my matching cap-toed flats. As for accessories, I added a gold mustache necklace as an attempt to make this look less ... for a lack of better words, uptight. ;)
